Pooja room ceiling design

A pooja room calls for light that is gentle and even. A backlit panel or a printed traditional motif above the mandir creates a calm, luminous space.

Practical considerations

Points we discuss with you during the site visit.

  • Diyas, lamps and incense produce heat and smoke: keep open flames well below the ceiling and ventilate the room.
  • Ask us which membrane is proposed and the clearance we recommend above lamps.
  • Choose warm light colours for a calm atmosphere.

Common questions

Is a stretch ceiling safe above a diya?

Open flames should always be kept well below any ceiling, and smoke should be ventilated. We will advise a safe clearance for your room and the membrane proposed.

Can you print a specific deity or motif?

Yes, if you provide artwork at sufficient resolution or choose from available motifs. We share a proof before printing.
