Skyceil Glossy & Mirror

Glossy, Lacquer and Mirror Stretch Ceilings

High-gloss stretch ceilings reflect the room and its light, so spaces feel brighter and taller — even where the ceiling is low or uneven.

What it is

A high-gloss membrane works like a soft mirror. It picks up light from windows and fittings and reflects the room below, which makes a space feel more open.

Gloss suits modern interiors and adds an instant sense of luxury. Darker lacquer colours give deep, dramatic reflections — especially with pendant lights — while white and cream gloss keep a room bright and airy.

Benefits

  • Makes low or narrow rooms feel taller and wider
  • Reflects light, brightening the space
  • Smooth surface that is simple to wipe clean

Things to consider

  • Gloss reflects everything below it — including clutter — so lighting and layout matter.
  • Wide gloss ceilings may need joins; we plan seam positions with you.
  • Darker gloss can feel dramatic in small rooms; we can show samples first.

Installation

  1. 1Agree finish, colour and light positions.
  2. 2Fix perimeter profiles and prepare openings for lights.
  3. 3Stretch the membrane and fit lights through reinforced openings.

Care and maintenance

  • Wipe with a soft microfibre cloth; a mild, non-abrasive cleaner diluted in water can be used for marks.
  • Avoid scrubbing, abrasive pads and solvents, which can dull the surface.

Specifications

Membrane data, lighting specifications, test documentation and warranty terms depend on the exact system proposed. We share them with your quotation or on request.

Questions about glossy & mirror

Will a gloss ceiling look like a mirror?

It reflects the room clearly, though more softly than a glass mirror. Dark lacquer gives the strongest reflections.

Can I fit lights and fans in a gloss ceiling?

Yes. Openings for lights, fans and AC grilles are planned and reinforced during installation.

Is gloss suitable for kitchens?

Gloss is easy to wipe, which suits kitchens. Ask us about membrane options and ventilation requirements for your kitchen.
