Stretch ceilings need little upkeep compared with painted plaster, but a few habits will keep yours looking new.
Routine cleaning
- Dust occasionally with a soft, dry microfibre cloth.
- For marks, use a slightly damp cloth with plain water.
- On gloss, a mild non-abrasive cleaner diluted in water helps avoid streaks — wipe in one direction.
What to avoid
- Solvents, scouring powders and abrasive pads.
- Pressing hard or scrubbing.
- Sharp objects — take care with ladders, curtain rods and tall furniture.
Lighting and fittings
Replace lamps through their fittings as normal. For backlit, RGB or fibre-optic systems, service drivers and illuminators through the access points planned during installation.
If something goes wrong
If the membrane is punctured or a leak from above causes it to sag, switch off any lights in that area and contact us. Do not try to pierce or drain the membrane yourself.
